Ferret events

The Hurolimpiadas began in 2002, when its creator cocomexicano, turned to the task of forming an unusual event for the ferret fans of Mexico and the world in an event that brings information, pleasure and sports for ferrets.

In 2004 came the first official hurolimpiada Mexico and the world with a single race event called ferrets, which consists of a plastic tube in Ferret eventswhich ferrets run a distance of 10 m. For subsequent years, they have been attaching events, conferences, contests and prizes that have given rise to a unique event worldwide.

A lot of people from all over the world participate directly and indirectly through logo designs and creating new tests. The competition has grown and currently the Hurolimpiadas has crossed borders and is officially in Spain in Bizkaia, with three events already classified, official records, regulations and well-established world records that are internationally recognized.

Hurolímpicos Games in Spain

In Spain, Zaragoza is held each year in Don Perro, based on the original evidence and ideas adapted from those in the United States.

Spain enjoys a great event year after year attracting large numbers of media and lovers of ferrets. The first merger with Spain for ferret’s tests took place in Zaragoza in 2003, but then known as Don Perro Ferrets Meeting. Because the Spanish named the first Hurolimpiadas so in 2006 it was decided to call the “Third Meeting of Ferrets Don Dog” with the name of Zaragoza Games Hurolímpicos so as not to be confused with Hurolimpiadas in Mexico.

Pioneers in the Latin world, the concentration of ferrets provides many games, quizzes and competitions such as the ferrets race tubes, the war dance, the kissing, the bostezon, fishing for passes, tumbler glasses, beer race, beauty competitions and more various free playgrounds for ferrets and their owners like the ball pool room and playgrounds.

Ferret Fair Sabadell

Ferret Fair Sabadell is the first event of ferrets in Spain. This fair was begun in 2001 as an idea to celebrate the anniversary of the Community of Ferrets and their owners and to acknowledge the introduction of ferrets by sharing knowledge and the joys of ownership in this region of Spain.

Created by Jose Maria it is a dedicated huronero, which has driven the event to become a tradition. From 2006 the fair ferret Sabadell, added competitions and events such as the “Race of Ferrets of Spain,” in 2004 with the National Quedada Barcelona and merged the events to create a one single event. It is celebrated every year on July 7, or on the nearest weekend.
