Ferret Games

Ferrets are very social animals and most love to play with humans. The “game” from the standpoint of a ferret can be a bit like hide and seek, or rather a form of representation of the game in which humans must catch the ferret or the ferret tries to bite humans in fingers and toes.

Like a playful cat, ferrets really do not bite your fellow humans most Ferret Gamestimes, but cling gently with a finger or foot with his mouth and then roll around it.

By contrast, ferrets that are abused or injured may firmly bite humans. Ferrets have extremely strong jaws and can easily bite through human skin. Once properly trained, a ferret will very seldom bite humans and most cat toys work well with ferrets but avoid those made of rubber or foam as ferrets can chew and swallow small pieces that cause intestinal obstructions.

When ferrets are especially stressed they can perform the war dance of the weasel, characterized by a series of frantic side jumps accompanied by a characteristic cry like a Dok, dok, dok!.
